Faith Gives Forgiveness

TODAY'S DEVOTION:

Luke 5:20 - When Jesus saw their faith, he said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.”

 

GREEK TERMS:

 πίστιν (pistin) - Saw their Faith

Faith which is Unseen, only measured by God.

 ἄνθρωπε (anthrōpe) - Friend

A relationship which God gives us an identity.

 ἀφέωνται (apheōntai) - Are Forgiven

Forgiveness is not an easy thing, but the one who forgives and forgets has the heart of God.

THOUGHT OF THE DAY:

Sometimes we don't get answers to our prayers, we feel shut down, our conscience being silent and and consciousness totally messed up. The absence of complete shut down feeling is a very foggy and misty kind of vibe. This happens when our Faith system is totally zero. An atheist says unnecessary goofy things about their ideas, but when they introspect their inner self, they will testify that something important is missing. Christian Life is like a plant that gives fruits in its season. Christian Life is completely Faith based. Christian Life is a Christ-In situation. A true Christian will be identified with the fruit of his/her Faith. 

It is true that every human being has a trauma which is yet to be healed. Some get healed but some are still fighting with their traumas. Many are bedridden but few have been healed. Many are messed up with their depression but only few have been healed. As a Christian, we have made a culture of praying, reading and fellowship, believing that they are in good track with the Lord. But they don't understand that this culture which they have made it as a habit is just a formality. Where is Faith when we pray, where is Faith when we mediate on His word, where is Faith when we have fellowship, where is Faith when we go through struggles, where is Faith when we have so many unanswered prayers, where is Faith when we wait for God to work. Where is Faith?

WORD OF THE DAY:

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, Faith is an absolute substance for Unanswered Prayers. If we struggle with traumas, temptations, diseases and pain, Faith works Wonders. When there is no healing happening to any areas which you are struggling, please ensure to start building The Faith in God. Because I know that God is Possible. People might see you as the person with leprosy, they might not understand your feelings, they might ignore you and treat you as something strange. But it is God Alone who sees you as His Own. The only one thing to keep in mind is Do not disappoint God, when He waits for you to keep our faith in Him. 

The Faith like Abraham, The Faith like Moses, The Faith like Job, The Faith like David, The Faith like Hannah, The Faith like Enoch, The Faith like Ruth, The Faith like the Canaanite Woman, The Faith like Samaritan Woman, The Faith like the man with leprosy is what God is expecting from us. You will witness your fear flying, pain being mend, Sickness being healed, traumas being treated, Temptations being calmed. The only thing to do is putting our absolute faith in God Alone.

INTROSPECTING TIME:

1. How can I get ride of my past traumas and pain?

2. Whom shall I trust?

3. Will I be able to carry on this faith?

4. What will happen of my future?

5. What if someone comes to know about my dark secrets?

WORD OF PRAYER:

Dear Lord, please teach us to have faith in you. We struggle a lot with overcoming our temptations. We do not know how to live a stress free life. Lord please help us to find healing in your presence. Give the Faith like all the faith warriors of the scripture. In Jesus's name we ask in Faith.
