In the Last Days

TODAY’S DEVOTION: Luke 21:34–36 - “Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap. For it will come on all those who live on the face of the whole earth. Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.” GREEK TERMS: Be Careful - Prosechete (προσέχετε)  To be watchful, alert, attentive. The Right Words & Wisdom

Image
TODAY'S DEVOTION: Luke 21:15 - For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.  GREEK TERMS: Sophia (σοφία) - Wisdom Meaning: Divine wisdom and heavenly understanding given by God. Stoma (στόμα) - Words Meaning: Speech, utterance, or words spoken through the mouth. THOUGHT OF THE DAY: As believers, we are not called to depend on our own intelligence, confidence, or prepared speeches. Jesus Himself promised that He would give us the right Words and Wisdom through the Holy Spirit. Sometimes people may reject us, question us, or misunderstand us, but when God leads us, He also equips us. More than speaking many words, our life, character, conduct, and attitude should reflect Christ. People should not only hear Jesus through us, but also see Jesus in us. MY TESTIMONY: During my Bible college days, while traveling home by train, I once felt encouraged to share the Gospel with a girl sitting opposite me. After gathering...

The House of Prayer

Image
TODAY'S DEVOTION: Luke 19:46 - “It is written,” he said to them, “ ‘My house will be a house of prayer’; but you have made it ‘a den of robbers.’” GREEK TERMS: 1. Οἶκος (Oikos) - House Meaning: dwelling place, family household, sacred residence. Jesus was not speaking merely about a building. He was speaking about a place belonging to God. Today, our lives are God’s Oikos. Our hearts are meant to become a dwelling place for Christ. 2. Προσευχή (Proseuchē) - Prayer Meaning: prayer, communion, worshipful conversation with God. A house of prayer is not just a place where prayers are spoken. It is a life constantly connected to God. 3. Σπήλαιον (Spēlaion) - Den Meaning: cave, hiding place. The temple became a hiding place for corruption. Outwardly religious, inwardly impure. Sometimes we also hide behind Christian appearances while secretly entertaining sin, pride, compromise, jealousy, impurity, laziness, bitterness, and disobedience. 4. Λῃστῶν (Lēstōn) - Robbers Meaning: ...

The Lord Needs It ...

Image
TODAY'S DEVOTION: Luke 19:34 - They replied, “The Lord needs it.” GREEK TERMS: χρεία (chreia) – a necessity, a divine requirement This means when God says, “I need you,” it is not out of lack, It is an invitation into His purpose. WORD OF THE DAY: During the time of the Roman Empire, people were expecting a powerful king. But Jesus Christ chose a different way: Humility Over Display. Before His entry into Jerusalem, Jesus gave very clear instructions to His disciples: 1. Go to the nearby village. 2. You will find a colt tied there. 3. Untie it and bring it to Me. 4. If anyone asks, say: “The Lord needs it.” This shows something powerful, when God speaks, He is precise. His plans are intentional, and His instructions carry purpose. When He needs something, He doesn’t ask randomly, He calls with purpose. MY TESTIMONY: When I reflect on this passage, I see my own life in that donkey. There was a time I never wanted ministry. I had my own dreams, I wanted to go into defense...

OPEN MY EYES, O LORD!

Image
TODAY'S DEVOTION:    Luke 18:42 - Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has healed you.”    GREEK TERMS: ἀνάβλεψον (anablepson) – “Receive sight / see again” Not just seeing, but restoration of true vision πίστις (pistis) – Faith Trust, reliance, complete dependence on God σέσωκέν (sesōken) – “Has healed / saved” Indicates complete healing (spiritual + physical + eternal)   WORD OF THE DAY: This word is not just about a miracle; rather it is about a transformation. “Receive your sight” is more than physical vision. It is: · Spiritual awakening · Emotional clarity · Mental renewal · Relational discernment · Financial alignment under God Healing is not limited to the body, rather it touches every area of life. Just like Saul received sight after blindness, our greatest blindness is often spiritual. We may: · Pray regularly · Read the Bible · Attend church Yet still… · Miss God’s voice ·...

God is Possible

Image
TODAY'S DEVOTION:   Luke 18:27 - Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”   GREEK TERMS: δυνατὰ θεῷ (dunata theō) - Possible With God  A faith affirmation uttered from our mouth. THOUGHT OF THE DAY: Jesus clearly reminds us that our limitations are not God’s limitations. In life, we wait for many things: answers to prayers, breakthroughs, healing, restoration, and direction. Sometimes the waiting becomes heavy, and slowly, doubt, frustration, and fear begin to grow within us. But today, God is gently reminding you: 1. Do not measure His power by your situation. 2. What you cannot do, God can do. 3. What you cannot see, God is already working on.   KEY MESSAGE:   God is limitless, but our faith, attitude, and willingness matter. When we align our hearts with Him, trust His timing, and surrender our control, we begin to see His power at work. Do not limit God. Let Him move freely in your life.   QUALITIES TO CULTIVA...

Child Like Heart

Image
TODAY'S DEVOTION: Luke 18:17 - Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” THOUGHT OF THE DAY: In today’s world, we are taught to be strong, independent, and self-sufficient. But Jesus says something completely opposite, “If you want to enter the kingdom of God, become like a child.” GREEK TERMS : βασιλείαν (basileian) - The Kingdom  παιδίον (paidion) - Child εἰσέλθῃ (eiselthē) - Will Not Enter WHY A CHILD? Because a child doesn’t try to earn love, they receive it. A child doesn’t overthink, they blindly trust. A child doesn’t pretend, they are real. A child doesn't keep grudges, they forget the sadness the next moment. But today … We have complicated our faith. We try to control everything. We come to God with pride instead of humility. We try to take the job of God.  INTROSPECTING TIME 1. Do I truly trust God… or only when I understand? 2. Am I trying to earn God’s love? 3. Do I come to God openly … o...
