FINDING FAVOUR
FINDING FAVOUR
Luke 1:25 - "The Lord has done this for me," she said. "In these days he has shown his favor and taken away my disgrace among the people."
GREEK TERMS:
πεποίηκεν (pepoiēken) - has done
The Impossible which has become POSSIBLE, a complete Faith Based Act of the Lord.
ἐπεῖδεν (epeiden) - favor
Which we are not worthy of ... Still God is Concerned about us and He shows His Abundant Mercy.
ἀφελεῖν (aphelein) - taken away
Something that has been forcefully plucked out from the root, as a weed is been plucked out from the seed bearing soil.
ὄνειδός (oneidos) - disgrace
The weight of the world, that keeps plunging us or pulling us down, making us sick of everything we go through.
THOUGHT OF THE DAY:
I have been recently going through the plucking and planting process.. when we go through certain issues we do not know how to identify the problem and solve it ... Things might have been changed inspite of all our plannings... While working for the Lord we might face issues or sometimes things won't work out.. there may be a wilderness event being highlighted or even broadcasting before the people.
Yet we can see a spark coming... A light shining... A water sprouting... As Psalms 1:3 says, "That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers."
I thank God for this Word which still works wonders in our Lives... The only thing God expects from us is to Wait on Him and Keep Trusting even when the Wind blows Hard and Storm Strucks Hard ... Still I can say with Faith that God is on the Move in many Mighty Ways.
INTROSPECTING TIME:
1. Am I Waiting Upon the Lord?
2. Am I Trusting Him Blindly to Work in this situation?
3. Am I taking the work of God in my Head or allowing God to take control of me?
WORD OF PRAYER:
Dear Lord, thank you for standing with us, when things go wrong and go without our expectations. We believe that you are in control of us. Help us Lord, so that we may Find Favour in your sight. May our Lives please you. In Jesus's name we ask in Faith.
Amen
