Willingness To Be Clean

TODAY'S DEVOTION:

Luke 5:13 - Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” And immediately the leprosy left him.

 GREEK TERMS:

 ἐκτείνας (ekteinas) - Reached Out

The Hand of God stretching out to heal when Faith becomes stronger.

 θέλω (thelō) - I am Willing

The willingness of a human being to completely have faith in God.

 καθαρίσθητι (katharisthēti) - Be clean

The absolute need of Cleansing which can only be cleaned by God Alone.

THOUGHT OF THE DAY:

If a person becomes dirty, he or she rubs well with a soap and cleans it with fresh water. This is called the Physical Cleansing. The Buddhist monks meditate for hours and hours to gain temporary mental cleansing. To wash a car, it has to go through conveyor car machine. The new techs have invented automated vessel cleaning Dishwashers, but it doesn't clean deep and it uses second hand wash. For washing clothes, we have washing machine, but it can only wash limited cloths at a time, and sometimes dark colours spread other white clothes.

The products which men have invented are just a temporary lazy cleaning treatments. But The Permanent Cleansing of Sin, The Permanent Cleansing of Mind, The Permanent Cleansing of Emotions, The Permanent Cleansing of Curses, The Permanent Cleansing of Sickness and Diseases, The Permanent Cleansing of Curses, The Permanent Cleansing from the Temptations are only Possible _Through and By the Blood of Jesus_ . But the process of Cleansing needs Willingness. The Willingness to surrender in the Hands of God, The Willingness to submit our desires before God, The Willingness to sacrifice ourselves in the furnace which God has kept for us.

 WORD OF THE DAY:

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, God is ready to Cleanse us, but our Willingness to _Surrender, Submit And Sacrifice_ is what God is waiting for... God sees our Faith in Him. God sees how much we trust in Him, God measures our dependence on Him to work for us. If our Faith becomes less, if we carry on our own tasks rather allowing God, that is when we fail. Always remember if we are not cleansed, we are still in the bondage. If we are still in the sin, we are not worthy to see the face of God. If we are still in the darkness and don't come back, we are destined for hell.

The only Hope is coming back to God... For that we need to give our hundred percent to God. We need to make ourselves zero, to let God work in us... The one word for this is _Complete Willingness, Complete Faith, Completely Clean_ . If you are struggling with sickness, sin, curse, bondages, Heart breaks, failures or if you have less Faith, the only Hope is to give yourself completely on God's Hand. May the Hand of God stretch over your lives and clean you. Ask Him to give you his Word. Pay complete attention in listening to God's Voice. Spend extra time in praying, investing more in learning the Word of God, practicing more of speaking in tongues, involving more in the works of the Holy Spirit. And you will see the Hand of God stretching towards you and Cleaning you in and out, more that we have ever imagined, the noke and corners where we can't think of... God can go through it and work wonders in you.

 INTROSPECTING TIME:

1. Why do I keep falling in Faith?

2. How shall I come out of my worldy desires?

3. What shall I do to keep in pace with things that keeps messing around?

4. Will God really clean my weakest part?

5. How can I get ride of the shame that I have been carrying around?

 WORD OF PRAYER:

Dear Lord, we completely surrender ourself to you. We put away all our passions and desires. Teach us to put our trust in you. Please Lord, clean us with your blood, purify us, do not remember our sins, break all our bondages and curses. Thank you for the Cross that has saved us and cleansed us. May we always depend on your Holy Spirit. In Jesus's name we ask in Faith.
